You’re on the surface;

Don’t want to go down;

Not even to explore, and find what’s underneath;

But you start to sink, and you find what you couldn’t have at the surface;

Colorful schools of fish, dancing coral;

You’re scared you’ll reach the bottom;

But the bottom can be a boost to the top;
